The Talking Madeline is a
traditional 15 inch, dressable Madeline rag doll with
one twist...her back has a velcro secured, closeable pouch,
which holds a talking mechanism. The mechanism runs on
replaceable batteries, and comes with an On/Off switch.
The Talking Madeline doll
says one of five phrases randomly in either French or
English when she is given a lovable hug.
This Madeline is only
available in the outfit shown above. Although other outfits
are available separately, the traditional blue coat and
yellow hat is not available as a separate item. Therefore,
if you want to have the blue coat and hat for your Talking
Madeline doll, you will need to purchase the traditional
doll.

Madeline doll has bare feet under her jammies. If you decide
to buy additional outfits for her, be sure to get outfits
which come with shoes. Many of the older outfits did not
come with shoes. Also, the traditional blue coat and yellow
hat is not available as a separate item. Therefore, if you
want to have the blue coat and hat for your Madeline doll,
you will need to purchase the traditional doll.

rag dolls. But yes, they can wear the many outfits available
for the 15 inch dressable Madeline doll!
In producing Danielle and
Nicole, the manufacturer incorporated some very nice
features such as making their shoes and socks removable!
Also, their hats have an
elastic band. Therefore, the hats will stay put if you snip
the threads which keep it in place on her head for shipment
and store display.
Danielle and Nicole are a
